Practicing the soft TH sound in words like "think" and "thanks."

Don't be afraid of the TH sound :). I will teach or remind you how to make this gentle sound in common English words like "thanks " and "with."
If you practice making this sound yourself, it can help you hear this sound when others speak.
First, we'll learn how to position our tongue to make TH sound versus the S and TSU sounds used in Japanese.
If you have a small hand mirror to look into, it can help!
Then, we'll repeat a few words and phrases which use the TH sound.
Next, we'll have some listening practice. I'll pronounce some words and phrases to see if you can hear the TH sound rather than the S sound. Then, you can take a turn.
Next, we'll practice some simple conversation, using answers and questions which need the "th" sound.
Finally, I'll leave you with some exercises to help you continue to practice.
