Mastering the art of describing people
课程介绍
"How to describe people" This lesson is designed for elementry, pre-intermediate and intermediate students lokking to improve their English vocabulary and grammar skills.
In this engaging lesson, students will learn and practice vocabulary related to describing people's physical appearance, including height,weight,age facial features and hair.
This lesson starts with a warm-up activity where students identify the odd word out from a list, getting them thinking about word meanings. They will match words to pictures, reinforcing vocabulary. Next, they will catergorize words into a table, practicing their umderstanding of descriptive language.
The core activities focus on describing people in pictures using the verb "to be" for height, weight, and age (e.g He is tall and slim") and "have/has" for hair and facial features (e.g "She has blue eyes and brown hair"). Students will match words to correct positions and practice describing faces using guided descriptions.
My teaching approach is interactive and student-centered with plenty of opportunities for practice and feedback. This lesson is perfect for students wanting to build confidence in describing people in English.
