Sometimes, typing things out is just so much easier.
Text-based chatting is a fantastic way to become more aware of how you build sentences, and it has one huge advantage over speaking: you can always go back and review the whole conversation later!
I’ve always been obsessed with instant messaging: I still have fond memories on chatting on mIRC and Aol!
Plus, since we won’t be using audio or video, it’s a brilliant option if you want to practice your Italian without feeling self-conscious or put on the spot.
