Our Aim is to explain how energy input increases the movement (kinetic energy) of particles.
Describe how continued energy input eventually causes a substance to change state.
Interpret a heating curve graph, identifying where temperature is rising and where it stays constant.
Explain why temperature stays constant during melting and boiling, even while energy is still being transferred in.
This lesson is for students who need extra practice to consolidate this concept
