I've found that in general my students have been interested in asking about the COVID-19 situation in the UK and the global situation at large. I personally have many different thoughts regarding the issue, and some that are slightly alternative and not necessarily widely-accepted.
I think that this is an interesting discussion topic for everyone, because it affects all of our lives. It's also a good opportunity to experience some specific vocabulary related to virology and complicated social topics. If you're at an intermediate level, this is your perfect opportunity to become more advanced! :) And if you're a beginner, we can speak about it in simple terms! All levels welcome.
I look forward to meeting you soon, and asking some questions about the current situation.
