an introductory speaking activity
課程介紹
This is basically a prolonged version of your first meeting with someone new. In this case, me. That means we are going to go through all the common phrases and questions (asking about homeland, family, work, hobbies...).
I readjust my vocabulary and questions according to the student. Of course, the student is expected to be able to ask me questions as well.
Also, depending on the time we have, we can agree to talk about an everyday topic of the student's preference (favourite series, type of holiday, the best trip abroad, what he/she likes about his/her hometown, and so on). We can focus on the past, present, or future tenses, too. Once again, depending on the student.
