Description
This lesson is centered around reading an article and talking through it together. Before the lesson, you'll send me a topic you're interested in and I'll find an article that fits. You're welcome to read it ahead of time or we can go through it together during the session, either way works great!
During the lesson, I'll be asking you to form your own opinions on what we're reading, and I'll make sure you're following along as we go. Questions are always encouraged, and if there's a section you find difficult we'll slow down and work through it together. It's not important that we finish the whole article, what matters is that you're learning and having fun.
This lesson is best for advanced learners who already have a strong foundation in English but are looking for more real-world practice. The format gives you space to develop your own ideas around what you've read, come up with your own questions, and stay engaged in a natural back-and-forth conversation the whole time. The conversation is just as important as the reading itself.
We'll be covering reading comprehension, spoken English, and the ability to form and express your own thoughts and opinions. This way when you're in real conversations, you can follow along, contribute, and sound like yourself in English!
My teaching style is relaxed, encouraging, and flexible depending on what you need. I want this to feel less like a lesson and more like two people talking about something they're both genuinely interested in. Mistakes are welcome! That's how we get better.
