This course is for learners at HSK 4 and above who can handle daily conversation but want to express themselves with greater depth, nuance, and critical thinking in Chinese.

We go beyond "speaking Chinese" — the goal is to think and express in Chinese. Each lesson centers on an in-depth discussion topic: Chinese culture, contemporary life, social phenomena and trends. I'll tailor topics to your interests and bring in my background in psychology to help you understand the cultural and behavioral layers behind the language.

This isn't just Q&A. I'll train you to organize your ideas into coherent paragraphs, use idioms naturally, switch between formal and casual registers, and analyze authentic materials — news articles, social media, short videos — to sharpen your ability to absorb information and form opinions in Chinese.
