I call it "A is B." Yes, the sentence "~ wa ~ desu." You will learn the polite positive form and the polite negative forms equivalant to the English sentences with "be."

If you want to learn or review the basic Japanese forms, this is it. This lesson starts from "~ wa ~ desu" sentence. And it will move on to the variation in forms such as question forms and negative forms. Only the forms equivalent to the English with "be" verbs.
