Phonics and Reading
Learn letter sounds and CVC words through games, songs, and TPR.

This lesson is designed to help young learners aged 4-9 build a strong foundation in reading through synthetic phonics. We focus on making sounds, blending them into words, and reading simple sentences.
What we’ll do in class:
Sound & Action: Learn 1-2 letter sounds with fun songs, flashcards, and TPR actions to help memory.
Blend & Read: Practice blending sounds to make CVC words like cat, dog, sun using games and flashcards.
Read Together: Read short, decodable sentences and a mini story together with lots of support.
Play & Review: End with a quick game like Phonics Bingo or Sound Hunt to check what we learned.

My teaching style:
I use lots of visuals, props, and movement to keep kids engaged on screen. Lessons are patient, encouraging, and 100% focused on your child’s pace. Mistakes are welcome.
