課程介紹
Objective:
Exploring weather with learners and building on their prior experiences helps them understand the different kinds of weather phenomena they experience every day.
Weather is an important part of our lives on Earth. People often look outside to see what the weather is before they begin their day. Observing weather can give us clues that help us dress for the day, plan activities, or prepare for a storm.
Warmer: (10 min)
Start the lesson with the song "it's raining, its pouring"

Meet and greet with the student) - hello and what is your name
Ask the learners if the sun is shining today?
Show the flash card of the sun or is it raining - show the flashcard of rain or is it cloudy - show the flash card of clouds. This will help the teacher to know what vocabulary they understand about weather.
Using flashcards learners will observe, identify, and describe different types of local weather. .
Presention: (10min)
Practice saying the 4 types of weather - sun, rain, windy or cloudy, teacher will use pictures and flashcards with the words sun, rain, cloudy or windy on the flash cards. using the TPR approach to explain the different concepts on weather.

Practice: (15min)
Draw a picture of the weather, eg: if it is raining the learner can draw himself or herself in the picture, standing with an Umbrella under a cloud qith rain drops.
Write a sentence saying "I like the ...." (sun, rain, wind, cloudy)
Get the learners to describe their picture to you and read the sentence they wrote
Production: (5 min)
Wrap up the lesson by asking students open ended questions
Show a picture of the sun/ rain/ clouds or wind and ask them what type of weather it is?
Big Question: What is weather?
Ask the learner to show you letters on the Flash card 'rain" - eg R
