I will help you learn how to write a short poem in English, teaching you some techniques that poets use.

I will teach you how a simple English poem can be written. At the end of the lesson, you should have written a small English poem you can show your friends and family.
Vocabulary: Metaphor, simile, line break, stanza, personification.
10 minutes, learning about poetry terms and a small analysis of a poem.
20 minutes, writing an English poem with my help. I will help you choose a subject.
5 minutes, reading the poem, and editing it so that it is nice to read.
(If we don't finish the poem in time, you can work on it by yourself and I can help you edit it.)
