课程介绍
Guided Reading lessons are designed to improve reading comprehension, vocabulary, pronunciation, and speaking skills through the careful study of written texts.
During the lesson, the teacher and student read together, taking time to discuss unfamiliar words, expressions, grammar, and pronunciation. The student is encouraged to ask questions and explore the meaning of the text in detail rather than simply reading it quickly.
As the lesson progresses, the teacher checks understanding through discussion, comprehension questions, and conversation about the themes, characters, or ideas presented in the reading material. Students are encouraged to express opinions, make predictions, and explain information in their own words.
Texts are selected according to the student's level, interests, and learning goals. These may include articles, short stories, news reports, biographies, or other authentic English materials.
Guided Reading lessons help students expand their vocabulary, improve reading fluency, strengthen comprehension skills, and gain greater confidence when using English in both spoken and written contexts.
