ONE 20 MINUTE LESSON, 3 DIFFERENT PARTS (Customizable: anything else you would prefer to learn)
1. Brief conversation 2. IELTS/TOEIC/EIKEN speaking and grammar 3. Pronunciation
Choose any combination of the above 3 options. You can choose just one or we can do 2 of the 3 or all 3.
TIME: 20 minutes ¥400
TARGET GROUP: Anyone who is interested in English or who wants to improve their grammar to prepare for an English test, or someone who wants to practice their pronunciation.
1. BRIEF CONVERSATION
Let’s start with a little English conversation. I will introduce myself to you and then please introduce yourself to me. We can then have a little conversation about your life, your work, family, interests or any other topic you wish.
2. IELTS/TOEIC/EIKEN Speaking/Grammar
Are you preparing for an English test? Or are you just interested in studying English grammar? I understand English grammar very well. If you think it is difficult, I can explain it to you very simply and make it easy to understand. I can also explain things to you in Japanese.
Let’s do some speaking and grammar practice using materials from previous tests or example tests. Let’s look at verbs, because verbs are the key to getting English tense right. If you decide to continue learning with me, I will provide plenty of materials in future lessons and I can give you materials to work with before your next lesson.
You can prepare well and pass your test!
3. PRONUNCIATION
In this short lesson I will introduce the basic phonemic units for English vowel sounds. Some of them are quite different from Japanese vowel sounds but you don’t have to speak them perfectly because if you speak a good sentence everyone will understand you. However, it's good to know what the different phonemic units of the English language are.
