課程介紹
Online Conversational English Class (25 Minutes, One-on-One)
Objective:
To enhance conversational skills, fluency, and vocabulary in English through engaging and interactive activities.
Materials Needed:
Digital whiteboard or shared document for note-taking
List of conversation prompts or discussion topics
Introduction and Warm-Up (3 minutes):
Greet the learner and engage in casual small talk.
Briefly discuss any interesting events or updates since the last session.
Discussion on a Chosen Topic (15 minutes):
Topic Introduction (2 minutes):
Present a list of diverse conversation topics (e.g., travel, hobbies, current events).
Let the learner choose a topic they are interested in discussing.
Discussion (12 minutes):
Set a timer for 6 minutes for each participant (you and the learner).
Discuss the chosen topic, encouraging the use of vocabulary and expressions.
Ask open-ended questions to prompt longer responses.
Vocabulary Expansion (3 minutes):
Word of the Day (2 minutes):
Introduce a new word or phrase related to the discussion.
Discuss its meaning, usage, and encourage the learner to incorporate it into the conversation.
Usage Practice (1 minute):
Prompt the learner to create a sentence using the new word or phrase.
Provide feedback on pronunciation and usage.
Feedback and Closing (3 minutes):
Positive Feedback (1 minute):
Highlight specific strengths and positive aspects of the learner's conversation.
Reinforce good language use and pronunciation.
Areas for Improvement (1 minute):
Discuss any observed challenges or areas where improvement is needed.
Provide constructive feedback and suggest ways to overcome difficulties.
Closing Remarks and Homework (1 minute):
Summarize key takeaways from the conversation.
Recommend a related task for homework, such as writing a short paragraph about the discussed topic.
