This lesson is ideal for students from the lower intermediate to advanced level for English speaking and writing.
What to expect: You will be sent information on many commonly used multiple meaning words (including example sentences) through the message platform on Cafe Talk. You will be asked to select and submit your preferred topic(s) a day before the scheduled lesson. As your preferred topic is discussed during class, you will respond to follow up questions so you can demonstrate your use of the relevant multiple meaning words.
Even though the focus is on multiple meaning words, your other skills will also be assessed (your use of the past tense, adverbs, prepositions, etc). We will use the last few minutes of class to go over your strengths and what areas can benefit from extra practice and refinement.
