課程介紹
In this lesson, students will develop a greater ability to understand current events, news and what's going on in the world through reading articles and watching videos. This class is suitable for Intermediate and Advanced level learners.
Before class, I will assign you an article to read or a video to watch. In class we will review the material (don't worry if you didn't have time to read it before!), and I will ask you to summarize what you have understood. We will review unfamiliar sentences, phrases and vocabulary and practice using them in class. You will develop a greater confidence in being able to read the news and understand, or watch something on TV and follow along!
Please let me know beforehand if you have a subject preference for the material I provide. If you prefer current events, politics, popular culture, music, travel, food, etc., please notify me what you would like to focus on.
