Literary course
This Literary course helps students delve deeply into literature while strengthening their reading and writing skills. Through the exploration of poetry, fiction, drama, and nonfiction, students learn to identify key literary elements such as theme, character, setting, symbolism, and tone. The course develops strong reading comprehension through close reading, annotation, and analysis of various texts, encouraging students to interpret figurative language and understand an author’s purpose and perspective. Writing skills are enhanced through analytical paragraphs, essays, and creative writing activities that encourage clear expression, solid argumentation, and proper grammar and organisation.
