Latin is not a “dead language”—it is the root of much of modern Europe. Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Romanian all descend directly from it, and even English is full of Latin-based vocabulary. Learning Latin gives you the key to better understanding the structure, vocabulary, and history of many modern languages.
In these lessons, you will begin your journey into Latin step by step, discovering not only its grammar but also its immense cultural and intellectual legacy. You will see how declensions and conjugations, which may at first look like a puzzle, are in fact a powerful training ground for the mind.
