Topic : student introduction , A-Z phonics , (introduce object amounts - How many? )
Objectives : answering / asking questions about themselves
Opening : teacher uses warm up routine for students e.g. teacher greets students and does days of the week / asking about weather
Main section : teacher introduces himselk using set phrases . Students practice the set phrases . Students introduce themselves using vocabulary and set phrases . ( The teacher will ask information about students ) .
A-Z phonics - students practice some phonics appropriate to their level .
Reading : students try to read the words from the given flashcards . The teacher corrects any mis-pronunciations .
Conclusion : Students are asked to practice the self-introduction for the next class as a review . The teacher also introduces the topic vocabulary for next lesson - "How many?" object amounts .
