課程介紹
If you want to clear up your English pronunciation, this Phonics course is the perfect place to start. Together, we will break down English sounds one by one, giving you the physical tools to smooth out a heavy accent, drop old habits, and build a confident foundation.
What is Phonics?
Phonics is a method of learning to read and speak English by learning the individual sounds that letters and groups of letters make, rather than just memorizing the names of the alphabet.
In English, letters don't always say their names. For example, the letter A says its name in Cake, but it makes a short sharp "aa" sound in the word Cat. Phonics is the instruction manual that teaches you how to map those sounds to letters so you can decode, pronounce, and read any word confidently.
What will you gain from each lesson?
In each lesson I will introduce you to 6 to 7 new phonics;
-Phonemic Awareness: You will learn to identifying the distinct, individual units of sound in the spoken language.-Word Blending: Word blending is all about connecting individual letter sounds. We'll practice sliding these sounds together smoothly to read whole words, focusing on clean and accurate pronunciation.
-Rules and Exceptions to the Rules: Learn how letters modify their sounds based on surrounding letters and word patterns.
