Mika-sensei's 25-minute beginner Japanese lesson is just the right length to avoid feeling overwhelmed but also to make solid progress. I've been taking this lesson weekly for the past few months and have noticed a huge improvement in my Japanese speaking skill and confidence. The lesson pack offers excellent value for those who are serious learners. I'm always impressed by Mika-sensei's warmth and her gentle, friendly manner, which makes me feel comfortable and at ease. She patiently waits for me to answer whenever I am stuck, which I appreciate so much! On top of all this, she uses excellent materials that allow me to practice new grammar points thoroughly, and to work at a steady pace. She also has a great ear, always bringing my attention to mistakes not only in my grammar but also my pronunciation - which is hugely important for an English learner of Japanese like me. Miki先生のレッスンは、本当に楽しいです。私はもともと話すのが大好きです。はじめは、先生の質問も分からず、私が日本語で答えると、先生は丁寧に中国語に直してくださいました。レッスンを続けるうちに、少しずつ先生の質問も聞き取れるようになり、少しですが中国語で答えることができるようになりました。何より、先生と話すのが楽しい。楽しいから仕事が忙しくても、続けて行ける感じがします。
