Become a beta tester and help Cafetalk tutors improve their lessons and profiles!

We are striving to make Cafetalk the best place for you to find your perfect tutor match and learn new skills. In order to do that it's important to see the platform from the students' perspective.
This beta test program has been set up to allow students to share their opinions and experiences with the tutors, and help them improve their approach to online lessons.
If you like Cafetalk and want to help the tutors by sharing your opinion, please apply as a beta tester.

What does a Cafetalk beta tester do?
Provide valuable feedback to mostly new tutors in exchange for FREE lesson tickets.
The tutors will use the public feedback and the detailed post-lesson survey to improve their lessons.

- Try out new lessons for FREE
- Get to use new dashboard features earlier than regular students.
- Participate in exclusive surveys in exchange for FREE lesson tickets or points. The chance to win exclusive Cafetalk merch in lotteries only for Cafetalk testers.
- Get a special badge as a beta testers
Who can become a beta tester?
- You must be a registered student on Cafetalk and have completed 20 paid lessons or more.
- You have time to spend a little extra time (approx. 5 minutes) once in a while to evaluate tutors and answer a survey for each test lesson you take.
- You are NOT a Cafetalk tutor.
* In order to keep your beta tester status you will need to complete at least 3 paid lessons or 5,000 Points-worth of lessons per month.

Selection Process
The success of your application will depend not only on the content of your application, but your lesson history and primary categories of interest.
Beta Test High Demand Categories
English, Japanese, Yoga, Pilates, Workout, Music
Please note
- Even if you sign up as a beta tester for certain categories you can also test lessons in other categories, if they interest you.
- You can stop being a beta tester at any time. Please contact the staff if you would like to get your beta tester status removed.
- Results will be announced by email within a week after the end of the application period.
- Please refrain from applying as a beta tester if you are also a tutor on Cafetalk. Thank you for your understanding.
- We may terminate the beta tester program without prior notice.
