Hello! My name is Deyanira, and I’m a native English speaker from the United States. I am a Level 5 TEFL-certified teacher with a passion for helping students become more confident and comfortable using English in real-life situations.

I have six years of experience educating elementary-aged children, where I developed lessons, adapted activities to different learning styles, and used conversation, visuals, repetition, games, and hands-on activities to make learning engaging. My professional background also includes working with university students and adults, so I enjoy teaching both children and adult learners.

I am also bilingual in English and Spanish. If Spanish is your first language, I can use Spanish when necessary to help explain difficult concepts while encouraging you to gradually use more English during our lessons.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and personalized. I want you to feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making mistakes because mistakes are an important part of learning. Lessons can focus on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, speaking confidence, or practical English for everyday life.

I currently live in Vietnam with my family, and I enjoy learning about different cultures, traveling, and meeting people from around the world.
