Masa. Y 講師的自我介紹
I'm a Japanese international student who recently graduated from music college in the U.S. I was born and raised in Japan, and then I moved to the U.S. to study aboard for 3 years in high school and 4 years in music school.
I'm fluent in both Japanese and English! So don't worry if you are not the most fluent Japanese speaker!
(I also live in Fukuoka, so if anyone is interested in learning some Hakata dialect, I would be more than happy to teach!)
There are three lesson plans I prepared for Japanese learners!
1. Let's talk in Japanese! (15 min or 30 min)
If you're just looking for a casual Japanese conversation buddy, you found the right person! We will try to converse in Japanese as much as we can! Don't worry if you are a beginner. I will also explain things in English when needed.
2. Let's learn Japanese with J-Pop!
From beginner to advanced speakers, listening to songs is one of the best ways to improve your listening and speaking skills. We can use any songs that you want to study with and go over the phrases and vocabulary.
Please let me know the songs beforehand in the request. If you don't know any Japanese songs, you can tell your favorite genres of music and I can pick a few songs before class. (J-Pop, J-Rock, Anime songs, City Pop, Funk, etc)
3. Let's learn Japanese with Netflix!
Watching movies and TV shows on any platform are great ways to practice your listening, speaking, and reading skills. We can use Netflix Party or Youtube with screen-sharing in order to watch together and go over each scene.
You can learn phrases and vocabulary that are often used in real-life conversations!
