Jinhua Du 講師的自我介紹
Hello! My name is Jinhua and I am a UK-trained primary school teacher with over 20 years of experience working in British schools. I specialise in teaching children aged 4–12, with a strong focus on the British curriculum, phonics, reading, writing, SATs preparation, and confidence-building in English.
I was born in China and am fluent in both English and Chinese. My English is at a near-native level, which allows me to support bilingual learners effectively and help Chinese-speaking students feel comfortable and confident in lessons.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with children of all abilities, including EAL/EAS learners (children learning English as an additional language) and children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). I understand that every child learns differently, so I create patient, engaging, and personalised lessons to suit each student’s needs and learning style.
My lessons are interactive, supportive, and fun. I use strong phonics teaching strategies to help children improve pronunciation, reading fluency, spelling, and speaking confidence. I can also help students prepare for SATs exams and strengthen their grammar, comprehension, and writing skills.
Whether your child is just beginning their English journey or wants to improve their school performance, I am here to help them succeed with confidence and enjoyment.
