Hi! I'm Tonia, a native English tutor from Nigeria helping adults and young learners speak confidently in real-life situations. I hold bachelor's degree and a TEFL certification. 

With over 10 years teaching experience, I help students speak confidently, improve fluency and communicate effectively in work, school and daily life. I focus on grammar, business English, coverstaional English and pronunciation.

I work with motivated learners, as well as professionals who want to:

  • Communicate clearly in everyday conversation 
  • Feel confident during meetings, presentations and interviews.
  • Improve pronunciation 
  • Learn grammar in the most effective way 

  • Maybe you want to sound more natural at work, speak up during discussions, prepare for interviews, or simply communicate better in everyday situations. Whatever your goal is, my lessons are designed to help you use English comfortably and confidently in real life.

In my classes, we focus on practical, conversational English and professional communication. We talk about real situations you face; workplace conversations, presentations, interviews, emails, and everyday interactions. You’ll practice speaking a lot, learn useful expressions, improve pronunciation, and get clear, supportive feedback that helps you grow session by session.

Whether you're a beginner eager to explore the word of English or an advanced learner who wishes to be more fluen, I'm here to support you.

 My teaching style is warm, patient, and encouraging. I create a relaxed space where mistakes are welcome and progress feels natural. I believe the best learning happens through meaningful conversations, not pressure or memorization. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, your level, and your interests.

I love to sing, read, write and engage in DIY activities. I love public speaking as well. I also love meeting people from all around the world and this is why I'm excited to meet you.
