Welcome! My name is Veronica and I am an aspiring polyglot. I am a native English speaker and I study International Affairs. I have also been studying French for the past 8 years and Japanese for the past 5 years. I have tried almost every strategy for language study, from taking classes to self-study and therefore know a variety of language learning techniques. Through trial and error, I was able to learn the pros and cons of each method and which works most effeciently for me. Moreover, I decided to become a tutor to help you find the techniques that works best for you.

I have experience with teaching English as a second language through a volunteer group as well as engaging in several language exchanges during my year abroad in Japan. I have experience with explaining English grammar concepts in Japanese as well. Please do not hesitate to contact me, regardless of your level of English.

I am a friendly teacher, but will also give you immediate feedback and notes. It is okay to make mistakes; the key is to not make the same mistakes over again. I have some specific lessons offered here but am open to customizing lessons just for you.
