Teaching languages is my passion! I’ve been teaching English 5 years. In addition to teaching online, I’ve also taught language lessons locally here in South Africa : English lessons for young children living here in South Africa. I have a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. I hold a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from TEFL Professional Development Institute.Through my years of experience teaching languages, I have taught people of all ages and all levels. I try to adapt to students’ individual needs and help them grow closer to their language goals. My own experiences learning Afrikaans and other languages have helped me understand what’s most important when learning a language, which has allowed me to develop my own style and method of teaching. 

My teaching style is warm, friendly and enthusiastic, and my lessons are designed to be fun and relaxed. I focus on practical, everyday communication in English, while incorporating useful vocabulary, expressions, and grammar practice. I also offer chat lessons for students who simply want to practice their speaking - we discuss the news, culture, family, hobbies and more!
