Self Introduction:
As a professional ESL Trainer, the philosophy behind my work is to develop myself as an articulate and competent English speaker and therein assisting my students develop their English speaking level. I also intend to grow professionally as an ESL Trainer and make my mark in this respective field. I believe Cafetalk offers me a great opportunity in this regard and will hopefully serve as a positive platform to work.
More about me: I am a Global Management and International Business undergraduate student at a public British university. Not only do I teach students internationally, but I study internationally as well where most of my classmates come from all continents of the globe.
I am often described as an extroverted person. I love to meet new people, form new friendships/acquaintances, and learn more about different countries (especially culture, art, literature, language, politics, and religion).
Some hobbies I dearly enjoy doing; reading non-fiction books, riding sports motorbikes and watching F1, playing football, practicing martial arts, writing content blogs, watching drama and sci-fi films, and gaming on PlayStation consoles.
Teaching Background:
I have over 2 years experience of teaching students from all over the world in an online setting, whereas 1 year of experience of teaching students in a one-on-one physical setting.
Teaching Style:
I have an adaptive and dynamic style where I will ensure I adjust to the student's speaking level, as to having a counteractive and interesting lesson together. I will happily assist the student should they have questions in terms of vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, literature etc. I also work well in scholarly, academic, and business terminologies for students at higher English speaking levels.
You are absolutely welcome to introduce yourself at the beginning of the lesson, or skip the introduction if you do not feel like doing it (although I encourage self-introductions as they help articulate your personality and spark conversations in the lesson itself).
Please view me as a friend. I am completely open to casual and personal conversations and will do my best to keep up with you. Let's have fun.
