Hi there, I'm Alice! Thank you for visiting my profile. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and I have a passion for teaching, connecting with people from different cultures, and helping students achieve their English-learning goals.
As someone who speaks English and French, I understand both the joys and challenges of learning a new language. It's a rewarding journey that opens doors to new opportunities, cultures, and experiences. Learning languages has enriched my life, and I'm confident that improving your English can do the same for you. I have over 15 years of experience teaching English to students from a wide range of cultural and professional backgrounds. I hold a Cambridge CELTA certification and a Master's degree in English. Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of all levels, helping them improve their speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and overall communication skills.
I am a patient, supportive, and encouraging teacher who believes that every student learns differently. I create personalized lessons based on each student's goals, interests, and learning style. My aim is to build confidence and make learning both effective and enjoyable.
Having lived in Los Angeles for more than 30 years, I have extensive knowledge of American English, culture, and communication. I also speak French, which helps me understand the challenges language learners face and explain concepts more clearly when needed.
For beginners, I provide a structured learning path that develops a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and everyday communication. For intermediate and advanced learners, I offer conversation-focused lessons, pronunciation coaching, grammar refinement, business English, interview preparation, and exam preparation.
