I am Chigusa.
I am a Japanese language tutor.
 
I am from Japan.
I live in Kyoto.
 
I enjoy traveling, cooking, taking walks, reading books, watching movies, and so on.
 
I enjoy being a Japanese language tutor as it gives me the chance to have lessons with people from all over the world.
 
I have passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test, which is a test for professional Japanese language tutors.
 
If there is anything you don’t understand or would like to ask, please do not hesitate to ask.
 
I am looking forward to being able to meet you in my Japanese lessons!

I studied classical music at university.
I am great at singing.
 
After graduating from university, I have been teaching music lessons to many students, both children and adults.
 
I love having lessons together with all of my students and having fun with them.

◆ My Profile as a Music Instructor
 
I graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Faculty of Music,  and majored in Vocal Music
I also studied abroad at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Australia for a short period of time.
 
At music school, I majored in classical vocal music, and after graduating, I began to explore original ways of performing and my own unique voice through interaction with musicians from various genres such as classical and pops music.
 
I studied bridal moderator at an announcer school, and I also have experience working as a moderator for concerts and events. I can respond to various questions related to vocals, such as not only about your singing vocals, but also about how to speak.
 
Leveraging my 20 years of experience as a singer and vocal trainer, I will deliver vocal lessons that will help you discover your own unique vocals and make your music life even more enjoyable.
 
Please feel free to come and join me for a trial lesson first!
