Nice to meet you! I’m Austin.

Originally from Canada, I am a native English speaker currently based in Kyoto, where I run a tea brand centered around "Tea & Music" while working as a professional composer, pianist, and vocalist.

My lesson motto is creating a relaxed, enjoyable environment where you can build confidence and master real-world English as it's actually spoken. I support a wide range of students—from absolute beginners to professional performers!

2. Berklee Music Theory × 14 Years of 5-Star Hotel Performance 
I studied at Berklee College of Music and spent 14 years as a resident musician, singing and playing at world-class 5-star hotels in London (The Savoy, The Dorchester) and Tokyo (Shangri-La, Conrad, Ritz-Carlton, etc.). Rather than relying on dry memorization, I use a musical perspective to break down connected speech, natural rhythm, and accentuation so you can sound fluid and authentic.

I bring a wealth of practical experience—from running a business in Japan and producing tracks with renowned global studios, to composing and consulting for major corporate ad campaigns (McDonald’s, Meta, Yanmar, and more).
