HELLO THERE!
It's a pleasure to meet you! You can call me Sya (pronounced as 'sha'). I am from Singapore but I had moved to Osaka between 2019-2023 to work as an English teacher in a language school. I taught students of all different ages, from junior high school students, businessmen and even retirees with different English levels! So, don't worry, I can definitely help you :D
Now, I am back in Singapore, but always ready to help you accomplish your English goals!
I am very patient and friendly, so you can ask me any question! I love answering questions and asking questions is a good way to learn a language. Also, I am a good listener and flexible, so I can change the teaching style to meet your needs. I also can speak a little Japanese, so hopefully it would be helpful for you!
Types of Lesson You Can Expect
- Casual English
We can have a free conversation about any topics you like! We can talk about hobbies, travel or current news that you are interested in. My hobbies are travelling, photography, movies, food and learning new cultures, so let's talk about it!
-Business English
Let's practice different roles and tasks that you may have to do at work! For example, let's practice expressing opinions, agreement / disagreement, taking business calls and also giving instructions smoothly.
-Presentation / TOEIC Preparation
I can help you prepare for any English presentation that you will have - how to start and end the presentation naturally. I can also help you prepare for TOEIC by helping you improve your vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening skills!
