Hello my name is Leonard and I am from Canada. I have been in Japan since 1999. I have been teaching English since 1999 as well. I have lived all over Japan. Hakodate for two years and three months; Fukuoka for eight months; Kitakyukyushu and Nagoya for four months, and I have lived in Okinawa for over 23 years! I have traveled to the northernmost point and the southernmost point and the highest point in in Japan. I have been to many different regions so clearly I love Japan. I love your remarkable culture, civility, sense of humor and cuteness.
Scuba diving, snorkeling, camping and moon-viewing, karate and Latin dance are my main activities and hobbies. I love cooking, but I don't consider it a hobby.
What's in it for you? How can I help you? Well, I have done many many different styles of lessons for students from 2 years old to 92 years old. I have taught: TOEFL, TOIEC, Eiken, speeches, presentations, and even Dramatic productions and singing! I HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT HOW JAPANESE (and other Asians) LEARN ENGLISH. I have developed many different skills and activities to assist you. For example, if you've had trouble with pronunciation, I hope you can try my lessons. I hope my unique approachled will help you. And finally, I've done many different kinds of lessons from textbook to conversations and activities and games. There are so many different ways not just to learn English language, but English culture and grow not just as a student but as a person.
I sincerely thank you for considering taking Lessons with me.
