Self-Introduction
Hi everyone! I’m Ruru from Taiwan. My native languages are Mandarin (Taiwanese Mandarin) and Taiwanese Hokkien. I also speak English, Japanese, French, and basic Korean. I enjoy A Cappella, musicals, Pilates, and anime.
I have a deep passion for languages—refining pronunciation, analyzing linguistic logic, and exploring the cultures behind them. With a strong background in reading and writing, I have won multiple national writing awards and interned at a magazine as a columnist and interviewer. I have also served as a writing tutor. During college, I studied abroad at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and Doshisha University (Kyoto, Japan). These experiences allowed me to connect with friends from all over the world and inspired me to share the beauty of Mandarin. I’m here to help you learn Mandarin more effectively and joyfully!
