Hello there! My name is Luthando, but you can call me Loot. I'm from Cape Town, South Africa.
I am a passionate and dedicated teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Management, a 120 – hour TEFL diploma, and a Cambridge TKT certificate. I have 3 years of teaching experience, 2 ears in South Africa and 1 year in Beijing, China. In addition, I have a professional background in teaching, broadcasting, and administration.
I bring strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and organizational abilities to my teaching. I specialize in creating a patient, warm and inclusive environment that motivates students to participate actively and achieve their language goals. My expertise includes conversational English, grammar, pronunciation, and business English. I am passionate about education, and committed to helping learners grow in both skill and confidence.
Outside the classroom , I enjoy cooking, reading and playing games. I'm also a marathon runner, always training for the next race, and I love learning new languages, Japanese is next on the list!
