Hello :)
I am a certified high school & adult teacher from Montreal, Canada who is a native speaker of English and fluent in French. I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada until I moved to Montreal nearly 6 (!) years ago and have lived here ever since.
Teaching is a great passion of mine. I particularly enjoy teaching languages because of the human connection it fosters across international borders. It is extremely interesting to get to know people from around the world! As an avid traveler, I love to learn new things about different cultures.
As a teacher, I have been told I am approachable, respectful, considerate, professional and (hopefully!) funny. Learning languages can be intimidating so I try and make it as fun and interesting as I can. My students' needs are my priority and I have taught everything from academic to very casual English (and French!).
I am currently teaching at high schools and language centers around Montreal, as well as completing my Master's Degree in Education (MEd).
