Hello! I’m Teacher Alix, a native French speaker from France and a qualified French teacher passionate about helping beginners discover French in a fun and natural way.

I have been teaching since 2012, including several years as a primary school teacher and, since 2017, as a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teacher. I hold a Master’s degree and the DAEFLE qualification, and I have experience teaching learners of different ages.

My lessons are playful, interactive and adapted to each learner. I use an immersive approach: we speak French throughout the lesson, even with complete beginners! Although I also speak English fluently, I teach French entirely in French, using stories, games, pictures, songs, gestures and meaningful interaction to make the language understandable.

Rather than studying grammar rules explicitly or relying on translation and memorization, you will gradually develop your understanding of French through context, repetition and interaction.

I especially enjoy helping beginners take their first steps in French, whether they are children discovering a new language or adults learning French for travel, personal interest or simply the pleasure of learning something new.

My goal is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you can learn at your own pace, enjoy the process and gradually become more confident in understanding and using French.

Whether you're looking for lessons for your child or you're an adult starting from scratch, I'd love to accompany you on your French-learning journey!
