Hello, everyone!

I am Márcia, an English, Portuguese, and Italian tutor at Cafetalk.

I've got a doctorate degree in the English language as well as a 120H-Tefl course. I also have lots of experience teaching English - and a little bit of experience with Portuguese and Italian, too. I've been teaching languages for over 20 years. After the pandemic, I started teaching online. I´ve taught students of all levels of English and varied ages.

My native language is Portuguese - I am Brazilian. That means I've learned these other languages - English and Italian - as foreign languages. Just like you. This experience made me understand the challenges involved in learning a language. Due to this perspective, I seek to have agreeable and enjoyable classes with my students. My classes are based on the principle that, to learn a language, one needs to USE it! Considering this principle, my aim is to bring activities in which the student will actively participate in the class.

I offer a wide range of different lessons since my aim is to prepare classes that suit each student's needs.
We may simply practice free conversation or have more structured lessons tailored for your needs! Let me know by scheduling a free trial lesson. In this initial lesson, we can meet each other and talk about your needs, interests and goals while learning a language. This way, I can prepare lesson plans that are suitable for each one of you.
