Hi there! My name is Yousra, and I am a native Italian teacher. I believe that learning a language is the most beautiful way to connect with the world, and I’m here to help you do just that with energy and positivity!

I come from Italy, a land of art, history, and incredible food! I have a solid academic background in Human Sciences, a field of study that allowed me to dive deep into pedagogy, psychology, and learning processes.

What does this mean for you?
It means that in my lessons, you won’t just find grammar rules, but a method designed to respect your pace, your motivation, and the way your mind processes information.
I am an extremely energetic, cheerful person with infinite patience. I know very well that learning a foreign language can be intimidating at first, but my goal is to make you feel at ease from the very first minute!

I love traveling and discovering new cultures. I’m a cooking enthusiast (I love experimenting with regional Italian recipes!), I practice yoga to stay balanced, and I love everything related to personal growth and well-being. I adore animals, nature, and long chats over a good coffee.

Favorite quote: "Sbagliando si impara" (You learn by making mistakes).

I love languages: studying them, translating them, and, above all, teaching them! I bring all my experience and passion into my lessons. Mine is not a boring or rigid "traditional school" approach. I prefer to define myself as a tutor: I am not "above" you, but your peer—a travel companion sharing knowledge to support you. Together, we will build a path where I won't just "teach" you, but you will "learn with my help"!

The ultimate goal of our lessons is NOT to pass a test, but to learn how to understand and be understood. In other words: learning to communicate. No grades, no anxiety, and no fear: every mistake is a fundamental and necessary part of the learning process. If you want to learn something new, you MUST make mistakes! :) Remember: fear and shame are not allowed here.

My specialty is creating original materials and 100% personalized lesson plans based on your interests and goals. Whether you want to travel to Italy, improve for work, or simply learn for passion, we will find the right path for you.


Rules & Tips

  • Punctuality and Preparation: I kindly ask you to show up on time for our lessons. Please ensure you are in a quiet environment where you can focus and check your internet connection in advance. If you have technical issues or are running late, send me a message on the lesson page!

  • Cancellation Policy:  In case of a no-show or cancellation with less than 12 hours' notice, 100% of the points will be charged. Thank you for your understanding. ♡

  • Italian Only!: As soon as possible, we will try to communicate only in Italian, even in our messages on Cafetalk! Repetition and immersion are the keys to becoming fluent. If we always speak English, we will slow down the process. Don't worry: I am very patient and I will help you find the right word every time!

  • Self-Study: It is impossible to learn a language with only 1 or 2 hours a week if you don't study a bit on your own. Think of a language like a sport: you have to train your muscles every day to see results! ^_^

  • Feedback: Leaving feedback after the lesson is vital for me. It helps me understand if you enjoyed yourself and how I can further improve my service for you. Thank you!
