Want to improve your English, build confidence, and start speaking naturally? I'd love to help you on that journey!
Hi there! My name is Guy, and I'm an American English speaker who has spent the last 10 years living in Europe. I'm now based in Asia, which has given me an international perspective and plenty of experience connecting with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
Whether you're learning your very first English words, preparing for work, or already speak English fluently and simply want more opportunities to practice, you're welcome here!

Learning a language is about more than memorizing grammar rules and vocabulary. It's about being able to express yourself, understand others, and feel comfortable using what you've learned in real life. My goal is to help you do exactly that.

Having lived in Europe for a decade and now living in Asia, I understand the value of communicating across cultures. We can talk about everyday life, travel, culture, work, hobbies, and just about anything else that interests you!
A Comfortable, Judgment-Free Environment
Nervous about speaking English? Don't worry! Making mistakes is a normal part of learning. You don't need perfect grammar or a huge vocabulary to get started. We'll work at your pace, and I'll help you build confidence one conversation at a time.
(And as someone who moved to Germany without knowing the language and experienced first-hand what it means to speak another language to a room full of native speakers, I understand exactly what it means to be shy or uncomfortable in that setting. We'll get you there. This will be a safe space.

Absolute Beginners: Starting from zero? No problem! We'll take things slowly, build your vocabulary, practice simple sentences, and work toward your first real conversations in English.
Beginner and Intermediate Learners: Already know some English but struggle to put sentences together or speak confidently? We'll practice everyday conversations, improve your vocabulary, and help you express yourself more naturally.
Business English: Practice professional communication, workplace conversations, meetings, interviews, and the English you need to advance your career.
Conversation Practice: Want to stop translating everything in your head and start speaking more naturally? Let's talk! We'll build fluency, improve your listening and speaking skills, and work on expressing your thoughts with confidence.
Advanced and Near-Native Speakers: Already comfortable in English? Great! We can explore more complex topics, discuss current affairs, exchange ideas, refine your expressions, and keep your English sharp through engaging conversations.
My Teaching Philosophy
Every student is different, so I believe lessons should reflect your goals, interests, and current ability. Some students need structure and guidance; others need the freedom to speak, experiment, and practice.
We'll find what works best for you.
You don't have to be perfect to speak English. You just have to be willing to start. As the saying goes, "Rome was not built in a day".
