Mat 讲师的个人介绍
Hello! I'm Mat and I am also active as a Cafetalk staff member.
Though I don't have specialized knowledge about English education, I did cultivate my skills at a consulting firm and I think I can share my practical know how with everyone.
Rather than grammar and pronunciation, I place more emphasis on learning how to communicate smoothly and how to talk in a way that will earn you respect in an international society.
About Me
I was born in Fiji and raised in Papua New Guinea. Growing up in a southern island society forced me to face culture and language differences from a very early age. I went to high school in Japan and then to Princeton in the US.
After graduating, I worked as a mission officer at an NGO, aiding refugees of the Kosovo War. After suddenly being struck with the idea, I started working for a consulting firm.
After that, I took part in large scale international projects all over Asia for 5 years. Recently I am putting my energy into multiple internet related businesses.
