Hello! My name is Ivanna Ndung’u, and I’m a passionate English teacher with over five years of experience in both online and in-person education. I specialize in creating engaging and personalized lessons that help students build confidence in their language skills, whether for business, conversation, or academic purposes.
Teaching is more than just a profession for me, it’s a way to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and help them achieve their goals. I believe in making learning interactive, fun, and tailored to each student’s unique needs.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy painting, learning about different cultures, and exploring ancient writing systems. I also have a strong interest in health sciences and education, which fuels my continuous learning journey. I look forward to helping you improve your English skills in a way that feels natural and enjoyable!
I specialize in English for kids and business English for adults. My journey began in a physical classroom, where I worked with young learners aged 5 to 16, helping them develop strong grammar and communication skills. Since 2023, I have been teaching English online, focusing on business English for professionals while still working with younger students.
I hold a 150-hour TEFL certificate and a 60-hour TEYL certificate from TEFL Universal, equipping me with the skills to teach both children and professionals effectively. I am also pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Science at the University of the People.
My teaching approach is student-centered, ensuring that children build a solid language foundation through engaging and interactive lessons while helping professionals improve their business English skills for workplace success. Whether working with young learners or adults, I focus on creating a supportive and structured environment that enhances confidence, fluency, and practical language use.
