Hi, I'm Coach Nay, your fluency coach.

I'm based in Zambia, and most of my teaching experience so far has been with Japanese learners. It has genuinely been a pleasure getting to know my students and learning more about their culture along the way — it's actually given me a real desire to visit Japan myself one day.

I hold a Level 5 TEFL certificate and a personal coaching certification and they shape how I support my students through the learning process, not just what I teach them. I've been teaching English online since 2022, and I also hold a master's degree in biological sciences, which has helped me develop the ability to break things down and explain things simply.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy a good mystery — especially Agatha Christie adaptations and stories with a sharp female detective at the centre. 

If you'd like to work with me, I recommend starting with a trial lesson so we can see if we're a good fit. My lessons focus on building practical vocabulary,natural pronunciation, and real conversation practice around topics that matter to you, and I send homework between lessons so your progress continues between sessions.

My lessons are for adults at the intermediate level — you can already hold a basic conversation, and you want to sound more natural.
