イギリス英語、特に発音にこだわって指導しています。日本の学校の英語教育ではスピーキング、とりわけ発音が軽視され、これが大きな問題と考えています。世界標準で学ばれる英語はイギリス英語です。日本人発音から脱却し、国際的に通じやすいイギリス発音を学びましょう。発音に気を配ることにより、音への感覚が上がり、リスニング力もアップします。日本の学校教育ではこの点が軽視されているので、これを若い方に知ってもらいたいと思っています。
