Hello! I'm Muts Sensei, a native Japanese teacher based in London.

Japanese version follows below.

I have over 20 years of teaching experience in Japan and the UK, working with learners of different ages and levels. I currently teach Japanese at International House London and also teach students around the world online.

My experience includes general Japanese, conversation and pronunciation, JLPT preparation, and Japanese for school examinations. I have taught Japanese B and ab initio at an IB school in the UK and have extensive experience supporting students preparing for GCSE, A-Level, IB and JLPT examinations.

My lessons are suitable for:

• Complete beginners
• Learners who want to speak Japanese more naturally and confidently
• Students who want to improve pronunciation and intonation
• JLPT N5–N1 candidates
• GCSE, A-Level and IB Japanese students
• Professionals using Japanese for work
• Children and heritage Japanese learners

My lessons are practical and personalised. Rather than simply working through a textbook, I help you understand how Japanese is actually spoken and used, with particular attention to natural pronunciation, intonation and communication.

Whether you have a specific examination goal or simply want to enjoy speaking Japanese with confidence, I will adapt the lessons to your level, interests and objectives.

こんにちは。ロンドン在住の日本語教師、Muts 先生です。

日本とイギリスで20年以上、日本語・国語教育に携わってきました。現在はロンドンの語学学校 International House London で日本語を教えているほか、オンラインで世界各地の生徒さんを指導しています。

これまで、初心者から上級者、子どもから大人まで、さまざまな学習者を教えてきました。イギリスのIB校ではJapanese B・ab initioを担当し、GCSE・A-Level・IB・JLPTなどの試験対策にも長く携わっています。
