Hello!
I’m Carol, an English educator, curriculum developer, and lifelong language enthusiast from the Philippines. My love for English began in childhood—what started as a hobby of writing poems and stories eventually grew into a passion for teaching and sharing the power of language with others. I truly believe that learning English is more than just mastering grammar rules—it’s about building confidence, expressing yourself, and connecting with the world.
I’ve been teaching English since 2017, with experience in both junior and senior high school levels. My journey has included classroom teaching, private tutoring, and online instruction, and I’ve worked with learners of all ages and abilities. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and have worked as a content writer for an international education provider, where I developed learning materials for vocational students. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Programme Manager in Singapore, where I design English-rich learning programmes that promote communication, leadership, and adaptability among students.
My teaching style is student-centred, encouraging, and practical. I adjust my lessons based on your learning goals and preferences—whether you’re a beginner working on basic conversation or a student preparing for academic writing. I incorporate real-life contexts, fun activities, and structured guidance to keep lessons engaging and effective. I offer both set lesson plans and customisable sessions depending on your needs. I’m open to working with kids, teens, and adults, and I recommend starting with a trial lesson so we can map out your goals together!
