Hello everyone! My name is Melani and I live in Cape Town, South Africa. I have a Master's degree in Biochemistry and besides science, my other passion is teaching. I completed my TEFL certificate in Thailand in 2017. I started teaching/tutoring when I started my bachelor's degree in 2015, 8 years ago.
My hobbies include painting, hiking and gardening.

What is my style of teaching?
I try to accommodate each student's needs and level. I tailor my lessons to suit each individual student to help them grow and learn in their own unique way. I am comfortable teaching students of all ages!

Why should you choose me?
I am very patient, friendly, and compassionate. My goal as a teacher is to create an environment in which my students feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and learning from them. Additionally, I am knowledgeable about different teaching methods for ESL students and believe in creating engaging and interactive curriculum that support each student's learning style.
