Hello, my name is Mark!

I’m a native English and Japanese speaker originally from the United States, and I have been teaching for almost 10 years, both online and in person.

I teach students of all ages, from young beginners learning English for the first time to advanced students and working professionals.

My lessons include:

  • Beginner English for young students

  • English & Japanese conversation

  • Business English & Business Japanese

  • Speaking, pronunciation & presentations

  • Reading & writing

  • Mathematics & statistics

  • Job interview preparation

  • E-mails, CVs/resumes & professional writing

  • Reading and discussing current events and news articles together

For advanced students and professionals, we can use real-world topics such as business, finance, current affairs, and international news to develop vocabulary and communicate opinions more naturally and confidently.

For younger students, I focus on making English fun, comfortable, and easy to understand, while gradually building speaking, reading, vocabulary, and grammar skills.

I am a patient and flexible teacher and tailor each lesson to the student's level, interests, and goals.
